The exhibits are covering the time span of early Christian ages till late 20th century.

In the museum, exhibits are displayed since the early Christian Ages up to the recent years. The periods include the Byzantine and Post Byzantine, the Ottoman, the Revolution against the Ottomans, and the recent History of the 20th century. Two original paintings of El Greco are on display among other religious exhibits. The monetary collection is thorough as is the archives section.
