Archaeological findings from previous and recent excavations.

Right opposite the entrance of Fortezza Fortress, the Archaeological Museum describes through the findings displayed, the history and evolution of the Prefecture from the Neolithic up to the Roman times in a chronological order. Exhibits include ceramics, jewellery, statues and coins from the sites of Eleftherna (still under excavation), Armenoi, Axos, Syvritos, Lappa and more.
